Fixed delve on 'Wave of Healing' to indicate that the target must be in the caster's line of sight to be healed. (this might be ML 10 ability?)

Leveling the Artifact:
To level it you have to group with more 3 or more allies and kill anything. IE - you HAVE to have a mid size group to get any exp, so its great for healers Nov 21- Iadas BabyVootEater

Map of Mesedsubastet's Route Jan 19 - DentisjeGetting the cloak does NOT require Pedibastet kill:
Today we went out to Stygia to camp the Maubastets for Healers Embrace scrolls for our 1 healers embrace. We saw Mesud, killed him. He dropped the cloak.
We then proceeded to the Maubastet camp, killing everything in it, includnig Pedibastet, every time he spawned, for an hour. Mesud spawned again, we killed him again. He dropped the cloak.
We then started farming Maubastet. Again. Yadda. Killed Pedi every time he spawned. Mesud popped YET AGAIN. We killed him again. He dropped the cloak again.
We got 3 cloaks from him in 6 hours. We got very lucky, but I am 100% sure that he did not kill Pedibastet the second or third time we took him down, since we were camping Pedi ourselves. Jan 4

DO NOT kill Mesedsubastet when he spawns. Wait until he has passed the portal and attacks the purple priest. When he does so pull his friends off the priest. Make SURE Mese gets the kill on the priest, because this is the only instance in which he drops the cloak. Once you kill his adds and he kills the purple priest, kill him. You should have the cloak. At least, thats the best we can come up with. It would explain why he drops the cloak 1 in 8 times on average and the longer he is allowed to roam (thus killing more priests) the better the chance he drops it. We saw him kill the priest two nights ago but didn't get his buddies off of it and he didn't drop it. So next time we know for sure to pb-ae him and his adds, the priest will have aggro on him.. but his buddies should all peal off to us. Then he is cake to kill solo. Nov 29

One possible reason the cloak does not always drop is that the attending crazed lions actually despawn at one point of the lion trail (near the haven) and the named then picks up new ones as he goes along. This is not so long after they fight the priest, so it may be that the loot gets cleared at the same time.
Also, we found that a good way to force the encounter is to have a tank disband and pull the lions to the named priest - then just engage the lion while the rest of the group pulls the adds off the priest from range. Dont touch the priest and he should go for the named lion - then proceed as normal. This is useful because the lions only pass through the aggro range of the priest every hour or so but they come pretty close much more frequently. Jan 4

When fighting the named lion for the cloak there is one thing you should not do: Don't charm one of the orange lions.
If you charm one as a pet to help with CC (the charm spells original intent) you will get no credit on the kill of the purple lion. No exp, no notice of his death, nothing. Jan 5

One more thing that I forgot is that when the named lion starts heading east past Haven of Stygia he will walk around until his pack engages the red Mausekhmet Defenders that guard the portal to the Setian camp to the NE. After the lions engage the guards simply pull the orange lions off with DDs or DoT's. The guards will die faster than the Pedibaset but it's also possible to get the Healer's Embrace Cloak here. I was able to kill them all with a Kobbie s/s war, a pac healer, a 30 something guildie who was leeching xp from scroll farming, and myself a 50 aug/mend shaman. required a bit of rooting since the fight takes a while and the wandering crazed lions will come to his aid ... but all in all wasnt all that difficult.

Tips:
OKay i killed the named lion, Mesedsubastet, w/ 4 ppl easy. We had a skald, healer, kobie war<shld spec>, and me 42aug/33mend shamanthe lion will walk around and when he gets near the maubeset village near haven he will attack a named maubeset named pedibaset<sp?> that hangs around on the west end of town. when the lion attacks pedibaset we DoT'd an oj lion and we got the lions by themselves. we were able to kill the lions easily by the time the the named lion finished with pedi ... we DID NOT get the hauberk, however we recieved an item call Belt Of Exhiliration ... it gave 7%healing effectiveness, 7%enhancement efficiency, 5% casting speed increase, 6bonus to acruity cap, and 12 acuity (which does add piety for shaman/healers) ... all and all a really good cloak for a healing class .. but id rather get the hauberk. The lion spawns around 55k 55k in Atum. Actually if you go to that loc and face southeast, you should see a little valley, he should spawn in there. The few times I've seen him he has always had 4 oj and 1 red crazed lion with him. After spawning he paths northeast in a U-shape, up to the portal with the defenders, then SE to the zone wall, then back NW to the portal. Nov 29

Named crazed lion (purple to 50) roams the southern boarder of Atum and sometime straggles into Stygian Delta. He is followed closely by 5 crazed lions (orange/red to 50). He hits fast, and doubles attacks for about 300 damage. Need one good group and some crowd control to take him down, drops cloak when he dies.
One other thing, if he kills anyone, he summons a fresh crazed lion
from their corpse.

This drops from a crazed lion with a fairly long name like Mesenbehmet...something similar. You can't miss her because she is purple and surround by about 6 oj crazed lions. She was not too far from Have of Stygia...ne direction. We took her w/4...just take out the oj's then focus on her.

The lion is a grape con and has 5 orange/red crazed lion guards. The guards are mezzable, the named is not. If anyone fighting the named dies, another crazed lion guard spawns, so death is bad. We took him with 1 group: 1 druid, 1 warden, 2 bards, 1 mana enchanter, 1 shield hero, and 2 shield champs. We did not need to use either Bard's AM nor my instas. Having bubble and all the shield specs guarding each other was immensely helpful.
The named takes quite awhile to kill and appears highly resistant to magic. I would recommend you have a bard and a shield spec tank with you. Mez pull, hopefully locking down all the guards. Have the shield tank engage the named. Kill all guards one or two at a time, then take the named.
I have heard the named does not drop the cloak every time. I hunted for him for over a week before I ever saw him, so he appears to have lengthy respawn timer as well. He has a huge wander radius. While I was waiting for help to kill him, I followed him around most of southern Stygia and a large part of southern Atum as well. Nov 15
