The Level 10 charge will not go over your buff cap, so no, it will not raise your stats but it will still lower them after the 20 seconds is up.  Jan 12

The Level 10 charge is useful if your in a bind and have no buffs not if your running fully buffed just depends on how you use it.  Jan 12

I found a great spot to level Malice Axe in Albion.
The SI island, (the new one you have to take the dragonflies to get to) has yellow/orange/red mountain yales in the hills near the stable master.  I get 68 million xp a kill (solo) with full camp bonus.  There are several camps in the vacinity, so if camp bonus dies, you can move to one of the other camps and get full bonus again.
They are friendly mobs and are against the Drakoran faction, so if you spent alot of time in Avalon City, like me, you don't have to worry about them going aggressive.  I've leveled mine from level 1 to 5 on the yales and they still con friendly.   Feb 3

Strategy:

The Malice Axe is an Artifact that drops off the named Minotaur in Typhon's Reach.   Nov 9

For The Malice Axe, The More Ppl you Bring the Harder He Gets ... Less Than 2fgs Is More than Enuf If You Use This Strategy For Killing Him.
Okay the axe of malie can be done easily with one group ... although the more ppl you have the faster you can drop tokens in the boxes. This is one of the easiest encounters <besides the ring of fire> that ive seen in ToA. All you have to do is have everyone sit on the south side while a shield spec tank type ... i use Sardon Theswift, 50 kobie S/S war and its easy ... me and him run to the north side and he runs in and gets the first token <which spawns malamis> he then gets of a single taunt and switches to engage ... he then drags malamis back close to the fenced in area <hence why he teleports ppl back in>. With malamice engaed and dragged away everyone else is free to get tokens and run them back. When malamice is in combat with the tank he really doesnt use any spells so keeping the tank healthy is easy. i rarely get below 50% pow and when i do i burn mcl and thats good for the entire fight. After the boxes disappear its a straight up fight. we had 2 savages in the group and Sardon had no problem keeping aggro from them after all the engaging.     Nov 23

We just did the Malice's Axe encounter with 7 people. We followed the strategy where you use Engage on the main mob and have the others collect the coins. We had the following people:
-          Shield Champ (50)
-          Warden (50)
-          Blademaster (50)
-          Druid (50)
-          Bard (50)
-          Bard (39)
-          Mentalist (43)
We always had the mentalist and two healers on the shield champ and everyone else running coins. The healers would swap out when they needed it. Also some had power potions and MCL. It took us 2 hours to do this encounter because it takes forever to beat Malamis down with only two tanks and a warden. But we got it done.  Jan 22

Tips:

Deep within Typhoon's Reach, you'll notice several pedestals throughout the zone. The fastest way to get to Malice is by taking the North bridge, and continue moving on.
You'll be passing "Ring of Fire" artifact, and once you get to Malice...you'll see tons of gold, with stone all around it.
You'll see the Malice axe on the pedestal, but don't click it just yet...behind the stones south of the pedestal (I'm sure it's south) are two chests... a chest of weakening and a chest of disciples. During the fight, have EVERYONE hide by the chests...DO NOT kill the disciples or try to kill the big boss. It is futile.
Right click the Malice axe, and it triggers the event to start. Have everyone grab a token from malice (right click it again), and run back to the chests area...put 100 tokens in the Disciples chest first.
..Repeat this for 99 more times (ehehe), and then move onto the Weakening chest. This will make him weaker and easier to kill. You'll have to put 100 more tokens in the weakening chest (just like hte Disciple chest)...and once both chests are gone, kill the boss.
Straight up melee, he's a cakewalk even for one group. Just be sure not to die, because a cobra spawns in your place if you do. And it can be a purple con (Siam-he cobra, I think?) or a yellow con. Both semi easy, but them spawning at the wrong time can cause devastating effects.
Once the boss is killed, one person will be able to take the Malice. Click on it, then use the default grab key (or whatever key you assigned it to)    Nov 24

There are 2 chest near his treasure ring 1 is the chest of diciples other is chest of weakening each chest requires 100 tokens to unlock we had two shield tanks take hits from malamis with our healers outside the ring while the others grabed tokens (to grab tokens you right click on the pedistal that has the malice axe on it) and ran them to the chests (to drop a token on teh chest you also right click it with the token in hand) we took out the diciples first since they heal him and then opened the chest of weakening as you try to deliver the token he will port you back to the pedistal that you got the tokens from in an attempt to not get beat without opening the weakening chest he will never go below 10-15% life after both chests were open we zerged him
We killed it for the malice ax artifact
