Got my Tartaro's to level 10 today, tested the level 10 charge... I'm going to unmap /use2.
There's absolutely no reason to ever use this instead of the level 5 mcl2 charge. Sad that it uses the same timer.

Or something to that effect... But either way i'd agree, as a caster, i'd rather have an insta MCL II then hit the guy for 250 dmg and gain a little end or health so i can sprint 5 seconds before i die. Feb 22

Strategy:
Tartaros' Gift, it drops of the High Priest siam-he in Typhon's Reach. Nov 12- Edaren
Artifact encounter was done with 7 - one was a bard bot. 2 ML 5 perfectors and one ML3 perfector. 3 heal wards 3 power wards. 1 PBAE enchanter, 3 heros [2 shield] 1 druid, one warden one bard
Basically, we got close, dropped 3 heals 3 powers, having one gaurd pbae and one guard druid, the endless flood of salamanders was no problem, i killed them [pbae] easily, and if i got aggro, the druid would spam spread heal until they were on him, then i just pbae'd them all. worked flawlessly. Took him down to 40% just with one hero on The priest, then, i mw'd and pbae'd af ew times. Jan 1

Tips:
We did it with a 6 or 7 folks in the group. The tanks meleed the artifact mob while our sorcerer spammed AE amnesia on the lizards. We had 2 clerics, pally, and I forget the rest of the group make-up. Once the artifact mob was dead, we looted and sprinted away to clear aggro. Dec 14- Dulcinae McKinnon
can be done with one very well built group. have to be able to tank all 50+ orange salamanders at once. pulled him off pad and just kept the salamanders in front of our shields. after loot dropped we grabbed it and sos'd out of there. Nov 12

Tartaros' Gift, it drops of the High Priest siam-he in Typhon's Reach. We did it with one solid group and a minstrel/matter cabalist in a separate group. One tank needs to attack the High Priest and drag him off of the pad, once he is off, the rest of the group joins in, ignoring the salamanders. If you've tried the fight before, you know that a large amount of orange salamanders are summoned, and often zerg the group. This is where the matter cabalist comes in, when enough salamanders are spawned and they are bunched up, the Matter cabalist needs to ae dot the salamanders, which are weak to matter damage.
Once this is done, the minstrel hits SoS and the cabalist kites them. The main group can then tank down the High Priest without too many problems.
