can do Solo, someone suggested having two people to deal with agro on the way.

Site 1 is at 18k, 25k

Site 2 is at 23k, 28k

Site 3 is at 12k, 3k in Oceanus Hesperos
Site 4 is near the island of Evaemos, 2 pillars, loc around 2.4k, 31k
The excavation site at 12k , 3k (Site 3) was the one with the least aggro. You can get ALL 4 Pristine Ruins at any site you excavate at. Just keep excavating over and over. No need to run around to all four sites.

There is a side quest, you can turn in the Unidentifiable and Corroded Ruins to Asoeron at loc 13.0k, 13.5k Hesperos inside the wall of the Haven of Hesperos. He will not reward xp, but he will give you silver or gold for the ruins. Nov 19

Asoeron is the named NPC in Hesp that buys the ruins you excavate. He will take 11 of them.
Prices are:
Weathered Ruins 10 gold
Fragmented Ruins 5 gold
Corroded 1 gold

Tips:
More importantly though is that if you find someone to group with, and you both excavate, each one of you will get the items found. Reduces the time it takes to get 4 pristine ruins. Dec 2

Soloed this quest. I am a lvl 50 Warrior. went to site #4. minor aggro - blue murray eels.
got all 4 Pristine Ruins at this site. 11/11

Go to site 4, less aggro there, bring at least 1 other person to help with the aggro along the way. Stealth doesn' t help you either.
